Opening: Yumi Neovichord Solo
Yumi Hara will perform songs from her solo albums "Groove Study" and "Statement Heels," as well as a song (in six beats, of course) from the picture book "Mitsubachi no uta" (The Honeybee and the Honeybee) by Ayuko Akiyama (Bronze Shinsha) and a new song inspired by the same book. Chris Cutler, former drummer of Henry Cow, founder of RIO, and general manager of the Recomended, and Toshiaki Sudo, who has been very popular with MS Decoder in recent years, will provide perfect support for the complex rhythms of Yumi Hara's works!
During this tour, the Neovichord (Electric Clavichord), jointly developed by the Nishiguchi Isoharu Laboratory of Kanagawa Institute of Technology and SONARESEARCH, will be used exclusively at Goodman in Akihabara. In the first part, Yumi will explain the characteristics of the neovichord and perform a solo. In the second part, Yumi will perform songs that were recorded using the acoustic clavichord, such as "Once around the World," using the neovichord.
