Celebrating its first anniversary, MiTaio is a band comprised of accomplished musicians. They pay homage to timeless classics across genres—not only rock and soul but also Brazilian MPB and Argentine tango—with their seasoned performances; since their inception, they have included Sparklehorse as one of their signature covers.
Coincidentally, in 2026, the documentary film “This is Sparklehorse: A Sad and Beautiful World” was released, and the band’s respect for Mark Linkous was solidified. Therefore, as a project befitting their first anniversary, they will present a cover special featuring Yōya Komyoji, a singular singer and devoted fan of Sparklehorse, as a guest performer.
